Category Cards
Each category appears as a card featuring:
- Image:A representative photo for quick visual recognition.
- Category Name:(e.g., Appetizers, Chef Specials, Soups, Salads, Main Course, Sides Dishes, Beverages, Vegan Food, Asian Menu, Meat Dishes, Desserts, Kids’ Menu).
- Status:Shows if the category is currently active.
- Sort Order:Indicates the display order of categories in your menu.
- Description:Useful for adding details or context for staff or customers.
- Actions on Each Card:
Edit: Pencil icon allows you to update category details or image.
- Change Order: Move icon (if present) lets you reorder categories.
- Delete: Trash can icon to remove the category.
Pro Tip: Maintain consistent and descriptive categories to make the menu user-friendly and to enable easier marketing of featured or specialty groups.
Add Category
Creating a Menu Category
Easily add new sections to your restaurant’s menu to organize items and improve customer browsing.
Required Fields
- Name: Enter the category name (e.g., Appetizers).
- Description: Add a brief overview or special notes for the category (optional).
- Category Image: Click to upload or drag and drop an image representing the category (formats: PNG, JPG, GIF, WebP; max 300KB).
- Sort Order: Set the display order of this category in your menu (lower numbers display earlier).
Final Steps
- Click Create Category to add the new category.
- Click Cancel to close the dialog without saving.
Tips:
- Use clear, descriptive names and appealing images for faster recognition by staff and customers.
- Adjust sort order to highlight specials or most popular sections.
Orders
Orders Management
Monitor and process all incoming and active orders from a unified dashboard. Quickly track status, search orders, and manage payments in real time.
Key Features
- Order Status Overview:
Pending

- Delivered Numbers for each status are shown at the top for a quick summary of daily workflow.
Order Cards
Each order card includes:
- Order Number: (e.g., #40de616b)
- Status: (e.g., confirmed, pending)
- Items Ordered: Shows quantities, names, and prices.
- Customer Notes: Displays special notes or applied discounts (e.g., Manual Discount: 25%).
- Order Time: Indicates when the order was placed.
- Payment Status: Shows if payment is pending or completed.
- Order Total: Displays the total charged for the order.
- Action Button:Use the Prepare button to move the order to the next status.
Tips:
- Use filters to quickly focus on urgent, pending, or completed orders.
- Click order actions as the workflow progresses (e.g., “Prepare” for kitchen staff).
