Table Status Overview
- Total Tables: Number of tables managed in your restaurant.
- Available: Tables open for seating.
- Occupied: Tables currently in use.
- Reserved: Tables booked for future customers.
- Total Capacity: Total number of seats across all tables.
Table Cards
Each table is displayed as a card with:
- Table Name/Number: (e.g., Table G1, G2, G3, T1…)
- Seats: Indicates the number of guests the table accommodates.
- Location: Optional description (e.g., “Ground Floor”).
- Status Dropdown: Shows if the table is Available, Occupied, or Reserved. Change status directly from the dropdown.
- Edit & Delete: Use the pencil icon to edit table details or the trash can icon to remove a table.
Add Table
- Use the Add Table button (top right corner) to create and configure a new table.
Pro Tip: Update table statuses in real time to streamline seating and improve customer wait times, especially during busy service hours.

Easily add tables to your restaurant layout to increase seating capacity and improve service organization.
Required Fields
- Table Number: Assign a unique identifier (e.g., T1, A1, etc.) for each table.
- Capacity: Enter the number of seats (guests) at the table.
- Location: Optionally include notes such as “Main Floor,” “Patio,” or “Window Section” for easier identification.
- Status: Set the current status: Available, Occupied, or Reserved.
- Pre-assigned Waiter (Optional): Choose a default waiter for this table from the dropdown. Orders placed for this table will be auto-assigned to this waiter.
Final Steps
- Click Add Table to finalize and save the new table.
- Click Cancel to close the dialog without saving.

- Use consistent table naming for clarity.
- Pre-assigning waiters can help streamline large events or busy periods.
